Robopatrol

Robopatrol is an animated series that was written, directed, animated, and performed by me. Although I hope to audition some actors and actresses soon for the various roles, this pre-release version is a good indicator of my writing, directing, and animation skills. I'm very proud of the work I've done here.

Community Storybook

At Community Storybook, I contract for other companies. This work includes technical support, professional writing, as well as computer related projects that get a bit creative such as chroma key video production, special effects, animation, and live action cinematography. I perform a wide variety of technical services for various clients.

Under this name, I also create videos for my professional YouTube channel. The trailer you see here demonstrates some of my filmographic skills, editing chops, and my penchant for silly jokes in writing and directing. I correspond with many businesses about video projects regularly. However, making videos is my passion and I do so even without a sponsor.

Gamasutra

As a Transcriptionist for Gamasutra, I receive audio interviews and turn them into written text. I frequently make decisions regarding what should be recorded and how to convey the speaker's' diction as it best fits the intent and format of the article in which it will soon be published.

Since many of the interviews concern programming, computer hardware, IT business interests, I must parse the jargon of technical subjects and keep well-informed on burgeoning technology.

Insert Credit Show

For more than two years, I have edited the Insert Credit Show from a live video source and 3-4 individual audio tracks and combined these into an audio show every week. This includes adding intro music, fixing audio inconsistencies and errors, and creating bumpers at the beginning and end of the show to keep the audience engaged.

In addition to editing the show itself, I also maintain the Insert Credit website, manage the database and server hosting the files, ensure the interoperability of the RSS feed, as well as oversee the Facebook fan page by creating posts with details of each episode. I also track data for the show's engagement and develop reports for managers regarding the information. I spend a lot of time interacting with fans by answering questions, collecting submissions, composing reports, and communicating news about the show.

Loves Wireless

As a manager for Loves Wireless, I executed every function of running the store by myself. I handled support requests from customers regarding software and online issues while managing meetings and trainings, conducted sales with customers and businesses. I managed the books, maintained computer software and ensured that every aspect of the business was taken care of so the owner did not have to worry.

During my time at Loves Wireless, I was always the top performer in my division. I won several contests for Highest Monthly Sales as well as received the only Perfect Score in the state of Virginia during a Secret Shopper assessment. I managed many employees and produced great results for the company.

PETA

Immediately after college, I worked as a Creative Content Writer for PETA where I devised new ideas for marketing campaigns and carried out daily writing tasks such as posts for the PETA homepage, letters to important figures, and scripts for commercials and other videos. One of my videos even featured Bob Barker!

In order to develop new campaigns for PETA I researched breaking stories to find sources that were relevant to PETA's causes. I brainstormed and produced copy, often complete with provisional graphics, all toward the goal to increase engagement with our audience and elicit press coverage.

T-Shirt Design

In the summer of 2014, I created this design. The humor of the design resonated with social media audiences. The original post has more than 5000 notes on Tumblr and new sales come in each day.

I maintain a copyright on this design and many others are available for sale in my online store. Some of these designs are seasonal, and others perform year-round.
